Fabric wrapped coil bowl

What was your source for this sewing project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Fabric wrapped bowl/basket Link to website or photo www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bpz6VTFS0Zo What are you most proud of? I finally have my fabric bowl. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Finding the proper clothesline to use is the hardest part. Full cotton clothesline is very hard to find. I used Mainstay brand (Walmart) which is cotton with a polyprolene core, 50 ft. long. My sewing machine had no problem sewing it. Also use a 90/14 needle for this project. For my first basket, I used the full 50 feet of clothesline so I could see how big of a bowl I could make with it. Now, I know that I only need half if I want to make a small shallow bowl for sewing notions.

Q&A with SweetJasmine

Kate Maeda asked:
You're signed up for a lot of the classes I am, but I've been procrastinating and you've been doing. I'm beginning to feel inspired! Trouble is I'm currently without a home and although I didn't put the sewing machine in storage it's a real hassle. At home it had it's own space, it's own table and it wass always set up, guess I got spoiled! Now I have to decide to have either the computer or the sewing machine on the table and I've been opting for the pc, time to switch out.
SweetJasmine answered:
Take the time to watch all the Craftsy videos you signed up for. They are so good.
