The Flying Geese block is a true staple of quilt-making, Simple yet elegant on its own (and perfect for beginner quilters!), the Flying Geese block is also a key component of larger designs such as the Dutchman's Puzzle and Spinning Windmill blocks. Quilt designer Kelly Ashton introduces how to make these classic blocks quickly and easily by using the AccuQuilt GO! Qube systems. You'll learn which dies to use, how to place fabric for accurate, clean cuts and how to sew and press your completed block. As a bonus, you'll also see how to piece the more advanced Dizzy Goose block, which adds a center square, and get inspiration for many quilts to come!

Quiltmakers of all skill levels will enjoy the variety of designs they can create with Tumbler blocks. Kelly demonstrates how AccuQuilt GO! Dies make it easy to create 6-, 4- and 3-inch finished Tumbler blocks. She shows how to place fabric for accurate, clean cuts, how to piece together and press the Tumbler patchwork for easy construction, and how to mark and use the dies to cut half-Tumbler pieces for the edges of rows. Kelly also shares tips for using fabric pre-cuts to cut Tumblers.
Kelly is WILD about hexies! See how to use each of the three AccuQuilt GO! dies in this bundle (hexagon, half-hexagon, and equilateral triangle) independently or mixed and matched. Kelly demonstrates how the precisely engineered dies can quickly cut accurate patchwork pieces that go together perfectly with both straight-edge and inset seams (Y-seams).
Curved seams are a cakewalk with the AccuQuilt GO! Drunkard’s Path block dies. Kelly demonstrates how to use these dies to create three sizes of finished square blocks: 3½, 4, and 7 inches. AccuQuilt's precision cutting, coupled with Kelly’s pinning technique and “slow and steady” stitching approach, will have you eager to explore the multitude of quilts you can create with the Drunkard’s Path block.
Kelly loves using her AccuQuilt GO! for cutting binding strips, whether on the grain or on the bias. You can also use it to cut perfect squares and diamonds. Cut multiple layers at once and use Kelly’s slick technique for applying and finishing a quilt binding completely by machine. Your beautiful quilt will be finished before you know it. Just in time to start another!
