This wheelchair bag is approximately 10” w. x 10” h. The three straps support the bag on the arm of the wheelchair, although you do have the option of making two outer straps. There are several options in this tutorial. A key tab has been added to the end of the bag on the left for easy access to keys. The three pockets include an outer pocket, a front zipper pocket, and a pocket inside the bag. The Velcro straps work well for anyone unable to handle snaps, ties, or buttons. The latter could certainly be used depending on hand dexterity. This is a fairly easy-to- follow tutorial with many pictures, and full instructions for each step. I have also included a mini tutorial for a bag with a larger gusset, a gathered front pocket, and tab for holding a water/juice bottle in place in your bag. Please check your wheelchair to ensure there is at least an 11” distance from the arm of the chair to the top of the wheel to accommodate the bag. I revised this wheelchair bag tutorial in 2017 adding a few more pictures, changing a few numbers, and adding options. I had several ladies test it for accuracy and flow. My e-mails are included in the tutorial should you require any assistance.
