***This is for the PDF Pattern ONLY - Not the finished toy pictured*** *Pattern is an instant Downloadable PDF file (NOT a finished product or kit)* This pattern is suitable for a beginner to intermediate sewer. This pattern and instructions will take you through step by step how to sew Tiger the Door Sausage Cat. It includes full sized templates (on A4 size paper) for the pattern pieces. You will need to download and print out the pattern & cut out the templates. Tiger the Door Sausage Cat is practical and cute! Make him and pop him up against the door and he'll protect your door from drafts. You can make him to suit any door size, as the pattern allows you to lengthen or shorten him as you like. Tiger will easily cover the width of a standard, single door and is designed to also cover the door frame on each side. I found with the standard length of a door sausage it was always just that little bit too short, which is why I designed Tiger this way. If you wish to shorten or lengthen him, this is done in the Pieced-Middle. So allow for extra fabric in the Pieced-Middle ONLY if you wish to lengthen him. This pattern is designed and produced by Jody Herbert of Jody's Crafty Creations and is copyrighted 2014 BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Blanket stitch for sewing on eyes and nose Basic Sewing Skills SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Approximate length of Tiger, from tip of nose to end of back paws, is 39" (99cm).

I love sewing and crafts and making things for my kids. I especially love making softie toys and in the last couple of years I have been designing my own softies and writing patterns too. I LOVE fabrics especially the bright fabrics and kids prints. I have also recently started holding sewing classes for kids too - which have been great fun.
