How it works

  • This pattern was designed by a Craftsy independent design partner!
  • You'll purchase through PayPal and all profits go to the designer.
  • After purchase find your pattern in your pattern library.

This 21 page e-book shows how to make Roses, Rosebuds, Lilies, Magnolias, Tulips, Leaves & Branches, and the Vase as shown. It includes about 70 clear photos and diagrams. All of the pattern pieces are on one page so that's the only one you have to print! Fabric flowers are a great carry-along project to use up pretty scraps of broadcloth or those gorgeous fat quarters you couldn't pass up. Because all of the parts are explained separately it's easy to just make what you want, so you could use this pattern to make a bouquet of tulips for the vase you don't want to put water in or a rose for an everlasting corsage, for example. If this is your very first sewing project be prepared to make a couple clunky looking flowers at the start, but overall this is a project that doesn't need a lot of experience to create a beautiful result. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Basic Hand Sewing and Gluing SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS The arrangement as shown is about 7 inches tall, but it's easy to change the scale to be larger or smaller.

Supplies Needed

  • Broadcloth/Quilting Cotton - scraps or fat quarters
  • Lightweight Fusible Interfacing - 2-3 yards
  • Heavyweight Fusible Interfacing - 1 yard (just for the vase)
