Q&A with Ladymax

Tanya W. asked:
Nice!
Ladymax answered:
Thanks
Fatima asked:
Very pretty.
Ladymax answered:
Thanks
Sharon_K asked:
So pretty, and love your color choices!
Ladymax answered:
Thanks, but the fabrics are part of a layer cake and so look well together.
KraftyKT asked:
LOVE THIS!! Just made my own, so happy I saw your picture!
Ladymax answered:
Isn't this the easiest method for making some last minute gifts or for your own use. Glad you saw mine.
KraftyKT asked:
Did you end up sewing down the top four fabrics? I have contemplated doing so, but I wondered how it might look on the back side.
Ladymax answered:
I did stitch down the top fabrics as I felt they laid down better and would be easier to launder. The back looks much the same as the back of any quilt and depends on the amount of stitching and the thread colour used. I used straight stitches, around each triangle and matched the bobbin thread to the back material and the top thread a very neutral colour. Try different threads and colours or do as I did. Just have fun.
