What are you most proud of? I designed it myself, and I think it turned out well - the color balance and whatnot. The quilting of the color blocks is just simple parallel lines, 2 inches apart, in different directions on each block. I also got the nerve up to FMQ some stippling along the outer border. I think it looks good, considering it was my first actual attempt to stipple a real quilt, because I had been practicing for a few weeks on scraps. I really do like the way everything turned out on this project. I look at it and can't help but smile. **Patting myself on the back** What advice would you give someone starting this project? Color is your friend! Big blocks of bright color, framed in black - how can you go wrong?? Just try it and you will be pleasantly surprised by the final result. It is a simple quilt to put together, and the machine quilting can be as simple or as complex as you want it.
