Mariner's Carrots

What are you most proud of? When I didn't like the blue at the bottom, I neutralized it with painted eggs. I love that the Sashiko machine makes such tiny, perfect stitches that look like they were done by hand. Of course, any type of quilting would be lovely. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Decide how big of a tablecloth you need in advance! You can always add borders. With QuiltSmart, the compass points come exactly to the edge - so you have to use their little fusible "hem" if you want to preserve the points. The product itself is very easy to use. The difficulty comes in always making a project fussier than it needs to be.... gotta work on that.
