What are you most proud of? After I finished hand appliqueing the four Hawaiian blocks, I discovered that the white on white print in the background was accidentally backwards in one of the blocks. I actually unsewed the entire block and flipped the background and re-appliqued it on. I was really tempted to leave it go, but I would never have been happy with it, so I'm proud that I listened to myself and took all that extra time. It is needle turn applique and it is time-consuming. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make sure you have enough fabric to make all of your blocks and also make sure that they are all right side up.
