Baby Lily's Quilt

What are you most proud of? I'm pleased with the little appliqued hearts on every other block (which also helped to cover up one or two rather dodgy joins, as I remember!).

You Can Make This

patz in suffolk made Baby Lily's Quilt with:

  • Cotton fabric mainly left over from other projects
  • cotton thread and polyester wadding (batting).

Q&A with patz in suffolk

Tanya W. asked:
I love the heart applique, that adds so much to your quilt, it looks so professionally done!
patz in suffolk answered:
The hearts were dual purpose - no doubt I'll be using a similar idea often in the future!!
Pam NZ asked:
Love this, love the colours and love the hearts... cute but sneaky idea ;-) Just love it all!
patz in suffolk answered:
Thank you - if there's a sneaky way to cover up dodgy bits of sewing I'll be the first to try it out!
