Anita's Arrowhead Project

Project Description

What are you most proud of? This may seem strange, but I'm usually not one to follow directions very closely. I am one to just create in whatever way I think might work. This is how I make jewelry, paint and create other art. Quilting was one of those skills that I planned to just figure out. I am SO glad that I recognized that creating special quilts that I hope to be passed on for generations required that I learn from an expert. What advice would you give someone starting this project? I would just encourage anyone who even thinks they might like to learn to quilt to give this course a try. Even if you have quilted before, you may learn some new ways of accomplishing tasks that you already know how to do. I think you will find her suggestions to be very informative and fun.

What you will need

  • Scrap material from old clothes
  • Niagara starch
  • thread from the my mom's ancient thread rack
  • templates cut from cardboard (until I buy the real ones)
