A charm pack of Windham Fabrics challenged me to go beyond a square. I teach a series of classes on English Paper Piecing and I found a size (1-3/4") that would capture as much of the fabric as possible for a hexagon. I randomly chose 20 from the pack, stitched them and then challenged myself to do something asymmetrical in arrangement. I made five groups of four hexies and put them into a zigzag type of vertical row. Go beyond the Grandmother's Flower Garden with these hexagons!
