Quilt Patterns by Donna Westerkamp
I am a quilter and mother of six children, 1 daughter and 5 sons. I live in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. My career started with making cloth dolls at craft shows and being published on the cover of several major magazines for my original designs. I then freelanced my sewing and craft ideas with a team of designers for Ben Franklin magazine and Lee Wards stores. I have been published on the cover of the Irish Quilting Magazine Vol 17 , St.Patricks quilt; and Quilt Art 2013 Engagement Calendar, May 13 page. In 2008. Wicked Book by Cherrywood Fabrics. I started my longarm quilting business learning the art of free motion quilting.(non computer) I belong to Faithful Circle Quilt Guild, The Northern Illinois Long arm Quilting Guild (Former President) and The American Quilter Society. I enjoy designing patterns that are traditional and modern. I like to take classes and continue to read new books on quilting. I hope you enjoy my patterns and let me know how I can improve my patterns. Thank you, Donna
