I had a gorgeous floral fabric that I loved and did not want to cut into small pieces for a quilt. So, I designed this pattern to focus on my special fabric using large 10-inch squares.. I'm sure you have fabrics that you feel the same way about! This is a good way to use them. for a bed-sized quilt - The green version was made by quilter Vi Eng. My thanks to her for permission to use it. Measurements and fabric requirements here, are for a Queen-size quilt, but the pattern includes those for a King, Twin, and Lap-Size as well. I am sorry, but we cannot sell to Europe nor any other countries involved with the EU VAT. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Using rotary cutters. Cutting and sewing blocks & strips together. Sewing an accurate quarter-inch seam. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Finished Block: 10 inch square - Finished Quilt: 91-12 x 102-12 inches (Queen Size - Requirements for King, Twin & Lap Sizes are included.)

As a child, I watched my Mom sew and my grandmother make crochet chains. Then, in 7th and 8th grade, I took what were then called Home Economics classes, and learned more about sewing and knitting. Afterwards, I continued learning on my own, mostly through books, and later TV programs, and online. In 2001, I became a quilt and web designer, and a quilt teacher. I am a co-founder and past Editor-in-Chief of The Quilt Pattern Magazine , and owner of the Quilts for Sale website, where I provide a venue for quilters to sell their quilted items . I sell my quilt patterns here on Craftsy's pages.
