Lucy and her dog, Brownie, love bike riding through the countryside. They stop and enjoy the beauty of a pink and purple flower. Then on the road again, headed to the park. Flower is the fifth quilt block in the Summer Romance quilt. The other blocks tell the story of Sam and Lucy, and riding off together in the sunset. Each pattern is designed to fit comfortably on a 12 inch block. The pattern as sewn in the picture uses raw edge applique which frays when washed. This results in a rustic, folk look to the quilt. This style of quilt block is designed to be free easy and not perfect in any way. That makes it charming! Approximate time to complete: 2-3 hours. This pattern includes complete easy to follow numbered step by step directions. There are full size printable patterns for the block appliques. The pattern is written with metric units in parenthesis. If you have any questions or concerns about the pattern please contact me.
