What advice would you give someone starting this project? I pieced and quilted this quilt on my home sewing machine. Most of the quilting is done with a walking foot and stitching in the ditch which is fairly easy for a beginner quilter. I also did a little meandering/stippling in some of the blocks. Just enough to test the waters of free motion quilting. I am hooked!

You can order the pattern from: http://www.shopfonsandporter.com/product/Three-Tours-Digital-Pattern/quilts-of-valor The pattern is called Three Tours and was in Fons and Porter quilting magazine in the March/April 2012 edition. It is my all time favorite quilt pattern. Thank you for the comments!
