What materials did you use? Cotton fabrics from my stash and batting.

What are you most proud of? I liked my individual blocks to begin with, but to be frank I didn't think much of my quilt top when I finished stitching it together. I felt it was too loud with the contrasting colours of slate, ivory white and mustard yellow. But now that it is quilted with Meandering Waves (still trying and practicing) I feel very differently about my project. Actually I love this quilt now as it reminds me of a sunny winter walk through a beautiful forest in Europe.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Its all about improvising.

Love this! I think it came out fantastic--the fabrics are great together and the fmq design works perfectly!
