What are you most proud of? Most proud of all the triangle construction I was able to complete. I love the old look the fabrics add to the quilt. Won't be my last quilt of this era.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I would be sure to invest in the Nifty Notions HST & QST "large" rulers. I bought the "set of 2," not realizing there were larger rulers. The set I bought only makes up to 4" pieces. The larger 2 rulers are not in a set but are sold independently. Some triangles are larger than the "small set" handles. Using regular rulers & different measurements are provided, but honestly it just makes way for a lot of confusion, jumping back & forth. Can you say "miss cut!"

It turned out so wonderful!!! Glad you enjoyed this class!!! It was well worth it, wasn't it?

Yes, it was well worth it! Now I'm a Civil War period nut. Lol. Bought the book,"The Civil War Anniversary Quilts" by Rosemary Youngs. There are (3) mini block quilts in it. I used the CW Tribute & CW Ladies Collections by Judie Rothermel, for my fabrics in this quilt. One of the mini quilts uses the same fabrics! You always wonder how you'll use your scraps! Wha la!
