Caught her kissing the baby, had a camera in my hand....used artist grade oils, added some reddish pinkish tones to the background to go with the portrait. Pink tones for the baby, Cadm red med, yellow ochre & white for skin tones. Ultramarine blue and raw umber, burnt umber for shadows. Is the piece for sale? No What are you most proud of? The affection displayed What advice would you give someone starting this project? Keep it soft

Sometimes an unposed picture can get the best results. This baby was born Dec. 13, 2013. I was fortunate to have the camera in my hand.
