School Colors Graduation Bears

What are you most proud of? I never saw a knitted graduation bear, so I'm excited that I have created two! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Enjoy the creative process!

What you will need

  • For Large Bear: #5-bulky wt. eyelash yarn (440 yds) OR #4-worsted wt. yarn (400 yds) For Small Bear: #5-bulky wt. Sensations Beautiful Yarn (210 yds) For Cap & Gown: #4-worsted wt. yarn (310 yds for large bear
  • 172 yds for small bear) For Honor Cord: #4-worsted wt. yarn (20 yds for large bear
  • 16 yds for small bear) Straight Knitting Needles: Size 4 (3.5mm) for bear
  • Size 6 (4mm) for cap & gown Double-Pointed Needles: Size 6 (4mm) for honor cord Toy Safety Eyes: 15mm (large bear)
  • 12mm (small bear) 2 plastic canvas squares for cap: 5 1/2" (large bear)
  • 4" (small bear) Small amounts of yarn for: nose
  • defining muzzle
  • tassel
  • cap embroidery Large-eyed blunt needle
  • straight pins
  • stitch markers (also unlocking markers)
  • felt-tip permanent marker
  • and polyester fiberfill stuffing
