Cable Knitting Sweater

What are you most proud of? This wool is so luxurious and wonderful to work with. I had ripped it out of a sweater I knit 13 years ago that my brother wasn't wearing enough. The wool was very resilient and has a wonderful hand. You cannot tell that it was knit and washed, and blocked and ripped out. Also, there are lots of babies on their way, so someone is going to receive this. What advice would you give someone starting this project? I have done the collar a little differently than the pattern in the Sirdar book, not intentionally. I am not sure where I went wrong, and would appreciate any advice. I have tried sewing down the ends of the collar different ways, but they looked like one of Madonna's costumes--not the look I was going for!!! Take Carol Feller's course on Celtic Cables and you will be confident approaching any pattern with cables, bobbles, and buttonbands.

You Can Make This
