A lovely collaboration between BeSweet + Kelbourne Woolens, the Rolling Hills Cowl is a beautiful and easy-to-wear lace and striped cowl featuring BeSweet Magic Ball in Morocco + Tundra in Lingonberry. In addition to the Rolling Hills pattern, the free download features a lace + striped cowl by Kate Gagnon Osborn, the Sugarplum Cowl, featuring BeSweet Magic Ball in Pebble Beach + Tundra in Snowdrift. YARN: 1: The Fibre Company Tundra (60% baby alpaca, 30% merino wool + 10% silk; 120 yds/100gm skein): lingonberry (A), 1 skein. 2: Be Sweet Magic Ball (Mixed fibers: baby mohair, merino wool, ribbon; 90-95 yds/50gm skein): Morocco (B), 1 skein. GAUGE: 17 sts and 20 rnds = 4" (10 cm) in lace pattern,blocked. NEEDLES: Size 10 (6 mm): 20" circular (cir) needle, or size to obtain gauge. NOTIONS: stitch markers (m), tapestry needle. SIZE: 25" circumference and 15" height, after blocking. NECESSARY SKILLS: Knitting, purling, reading lace from a chart. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY knit, purl, increase, decrease GAUGE 17 stitches and 20 rows = 4 inches in Lace Pattern, blocked SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 15" high x 25" circumference
