This is a long sleeve, fitted, short sweater. It makes a nice, light-weight sweater over summery tops. Features include lace panels on the front, back, and sleeves against a stockinette background. It is finished with a knit band up the front and around the neck. The pattern includes a schematic, charts and written instructions for the lace patterns, and instructions for 3 sizes. If you use Fixation, or other elastic yarn, the yardage may be slightly less than if you use Bamboo, or a wool. The small size took 7 balls (700 yds) of Fixation but 4 balls (800 yds) of Bamboo. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Decreases are made in lace panels for the neck and sleeve. The sweater is worked flat then sewn together. GAUGE 26 stitches and 38 rows = 4 inches in stockinette SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Chest size 34, 36, 38" (86.4, 91.4, 96.5 cm). There is about 1 inch (2.54 cm) "extra" across the front. SUGGESTED YARN 700 yards of DK weight PREFERRED BRAND/YARN SWTC Bamboo or Cascade Fixation

I started knitting as a child. Over the years I used a lot of patterns written by others. At some point I decided to experiment and create things from my own designs. A few years ago I started writing up my patterns for others to use. I hope you enjoy my efforts.
