PATTERN DETAILS

I created these cards for myself as I have many "PIGS" (projects in grocery sacks)! Scarves started, but forgotten. A baby blanket that needs to be completed for a shower. A shawl put away for a rainy day. I was constantly saying....what needle went with this project? I wish I wrote down what hook I was using for this! What pattern does this project belong to? What pattern book was this in? How many skeins do I need for this? Print these cards off on your printer, punch a hole in one corner and attach it to you project! Easy way to keep track of your PIGS! Great gift for any knitter or hooker! Print them off, tie them up with cute ribbon, add a skein of yummy yarn, pair of needles or crochet hook and there you go....instant gift! There are 10 cards on a page with all the information you need on one side, and plenty of room on the back to write down additional notes.

I was taught to knit by my mother in my teens in the '70's and I quickly went from that to cross stitch and then needlepoint. Life goes on to a full time job, marriage, a child and then in early in 2004, I was forced to stay off my feet. I pick up the needles and started with knitting a scarf and then another, and then another! Next thing I know, I have 50 of them! Off to a local art gallery I go to peddle my wares! They loved and sold them all! Creative Design was born! Three upscale children's boutiques and women's wear shops later, here I am! Fingers flyin' with an Etsy shop sheilalikestoknit and lovin' Craftsy! I can most often be found in "my chair" surrounded by a pile of yarn, fabric, more yarn, needles, another pile of yarn, patterns, more fabric...etc! We love to travel, eat good food, be with family and great friends! Knitwear: my handmade knitwear is lovingly created by me! The process of choosing great fabric and yarn colors is half the fun! Knitting it all up and seeing it come together is wonderful and the final moment of seeing this creation around someones neck, on a little body, noggin or in their stroller is the BEST! I have been lucky enough to receive wonderful photos and I keep them ALL! My Philosophy: I am committed to quality fabric and fiber. Attention to detail, craftsmanship and customer satisfaction will always be part of that philosophy.
