Sometimes you just want a little something warm and special to wrap around your shouldersmaybe when you're hanging out at home or tromping about in the country. This reversible, slightly felted wrap fits comfortably on the shoulders, knits up in a flash because of the sizeable gauge, and really shows off interesting yarns well. Note: Because this wrap is knit at such a loose gauge, it is lightly felted/fulled to give the yarn a bit more strength. If you have chosen a strong, bulky yarn and/or wish to avoid felting it, simply block the wrap to finish. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Knit & purl patterning GAUGE 10 stitches and 12 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch (before felting) SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 33in across the back by 38in down the sides and 12in tall before felting (82.5cm by 95cm by 30cm); 27in across the back by 35in down the sides and 10in tall after felting (67.5cm by 87.5cm by 25cm).

Supplies Needed

  • 350 - 450 yards (320 - 411 m) worsted weight feltable wool
