SALE! $5.00 Regular $6.00 In this tutorial you will learn how to make a beginner's metal disk ring. While it is fairly simple, it will help you get the feel for working with metals. These are a great design for men as well as women. This tutorial only shows how to construct the ring, not how to texture the disk. However, you can stamp and hammer many patterns onto your metal disk with any texturing hammer or metal stamping kit. We used a metal embossing machine to emboss our metal disks. We have been doing wire work for about 10 years or better. I saw my first piece of wire wrapped jewelry at a Rock and Gem show. I fell in love with all the pendants and rings all wrapped in wire. I really haven't looked back since then. Today my husband and I own a small retail bead/rock shop in our home town and we have just finished our first book which will be on and in our store, which we sell at all the Rock & Gem shows around our neck of the woods. Book name is " Making Memories" By Al & Jackie Koppany, published by Feelingstone Gifts LLC We have more books in the making and have over 25 wire wrapped tutorials published.
