What are you most proud of? I wanted to make something a bit different from the usual lace patterns, and I love the way this has turned out. It is basically a straight shawl which can be wrapped around the shoulders and is held with a shawl pin. What advice would you give someone starting this project? It is better to use a more tightly twisted yarn rather than one that is loosely stranded, as this gives better stitch definition and there is no danger of splitting the yarn while working. Any lace stitch pattern with a wavy edge could be used to make this as it is just a straight piece, and the size can be adjusted as required.
