The top and bottom tiers are covered with fondant, but the middle one is covered in buttercream and then I applied the frills. What are you most proud of? The frills, I was a little scared that they wouldn't turn out fine, but I loved them. they're easy to make once you get the hang of it. The tier where I applied the frills is covered in butter-cream not fondant, and it worked wonderfully. What advice would you give someone starting this project? The fondant for the frills should be very thin, you need to work fast so in order to do that roll a little fondant at a time, maybe for 4-5 fondant frills, keep the length between 5-7 inches, longer frills are harder to handle.
