What are you most proud of? This was a big challenge for me. First in this class i learn how to build a cake stand.. I have my own idea 'cause i see so many trees in the jungle of Brasil. I ask my husband to help me construct the base. We cut the trees. We put fresh flowers like orchids and bromelias & we use battery lights to give some reality to the "jungle". Then, in the cake confections, we use 4 flavors: Almond paste, cookies & cream, pistachio crunch and marble vanilla/strawberry Ponqu. Also we make 100 almond paste cookies. All flavors are unique. As a chef i have my own recipe. Also I, take my time to prepare every detail. This was a great experience and unique. At the end, when we finish our delivery, i was cake front, and step back just to final look, while in my mind i said....I love this cake, colors, art & design.... How much I learn @ Craftsy.!
