Halloween contest

Share a little about the materials, processes, and techniques used to create this cake I used the Wilton 3D Skull cake pan to make a red velvet cake and then supported the skull cake on top of an 8" round layer cake. The cakes were frosted with buttercream frosting and then covered in Satin ice black fondant and home made marshmallow fondant. It was then hand painted with Americolor food color gels. What are you most proud of? How real this cake looks! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Buy the Wilton pan - it makes it so easy to make a spooky cake!
