This is so nice! I can't seem to find an active link to the class. Can you tell me how to find i? Nice job!
Kimeque answered:
Thank you for your kind remark! This project was listed as the October Sew-Along under workshops. I don't know if it's still available, but you may want to contact customer service. It certainly can't be gone all together. Good luck!

Wow, it looks like you are quite a seamstress. The bands around your neck, waist, and sleeves is perfect--- no puckering, just perfect straight lines. I have to say I am a beginner and was a little disappointed, although I read patterns very well and have had good luck with commercial patterns, I did not feel enough information was included for a beginner sewer. I thought they would have step by step video's of someone constructing it. Anyway congradulations on your excellent dress, if you can offer any advise on getting such perfect bands -- I would love it!!!

You just made my day-- thank you! Honestly, I think having tried Meg McElwee's "Sewing with knits" class first really helped me. She got me to buy a "walking foot" that I now use for all knits. It feeds the fabric through so much better and helps avoid puckering. Also, you can get one on Amazon for about $10. Besides that, I just went slowly. I'm still trying to figure out all this, too, so your comments were such a boost. Let me know if the walking foot helps!
