Val Stephani Knock-off Bridesmaid Dresse

Project Description

What was your source for this sewing project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo McCall's 5806 Link to website or photo mccallpattern.mccall.com/m5806-products-9399.php?page_id=110 What are you most proud of? I'm proud of the fact that she and all of her bridesmaids were happy with their dresses. As a seamstress, we can see things that should've been or could've been when others can't. There were a lot of should've, could've "sitings", but she was proud. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Do not commit to making a project of this magnitude unless it is well thought out. These bridesmaids were from out of town and couldn't gt in for a FIRST fitting until the day/night before the wedding. This was very stressful. I had my own literal sweat shop the night before. I totally underestimated the time it would take to create all six dresses, the detailed flowers, and the alterations. NEVER AGAIN without a better plan of action. Even still, the wedding was beautiful!! More pictures ...just follow this link: http://csrapdu.ning.com/photo/albums/jens-wedding-62011

What you will need

  • Pink chiffon with a knit lining to match.
