Underbust corset

Project Description

What are you most proud of? I think the fabric looks pretty smooth and the eyelets were a lot of bashing - but all seem firm and have gone in cleanly. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Get some mini-bolt cutters to cut the spiral steel!

What you will need

  • Remnants of curtain/furnishing fabric that were given to me by friends of my parents
  • very strong
  • synthetic. Spiral steel boning
  • flat steel boning
  • 1"x8" busk
  • 5mm eyelets with grommets
  • satin bias binding
