Tilda Giraffe

Project Description

What was your source for this sewing project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo From "Tilda's Studio" Link to website or photo www.amazon.com/Tildas-Studio-fresh-projects-loved/dp/1446301583/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1375414489&sr=1-1&keywords=tilda%27s+studio What are you most proud of? How cute she is :) I am in love with her! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take your time figuring out the steps. The directions are quite vague. It also requires quite a bit of hand sewing, so be prepared. I love hand sewing and enjoyed creating her. I took enough pictures as I worked on her to create a tutorial but haven't quite gotten it up on my blog yet (http://augustmorning.blogspot.com). I didn't know if there would be enough interest or not in a tutorial. Let me know if you are interested and I'll put it together (but you have to get the book and/or pattern...I'm not all about illegal sharing).

What you will need

  • Quilting cotton and ribbon for the dress. The giraffe is made out of a loosely woven fabric I found at JoAnn's.

How do I get instructions? Email psstieber@gmail.com
StarCityLady answered:
The pattern is from the book "Tilda's Studio" by Tone Finnegar. I was just offering to write up a tutorial on my blog for people that had the pattern but couldn't figure out the instructions.
