Three Fourths Shirt

Project Description

What was your source for this sewing project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Burda 2561 Link to website or photo www.sewingpatterns.com What are you most proud of? That it turned out great. I had a difficult time understanding what would be easy for others. I am a beginner seamstress. The pattern has no collar stand or interfacing. I flat felled the seams though it was not asked for. I used my mother in laws old cotton sheet (1960s) and it is pure cotton, without any stretch. I broke a needle in the process at the hem part. Scared myself crazy. But when I put it on and it fit, I was really so glad. What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you are a beginner like me and have taken Pams class, just follow all the pattern and apply the techniques Pam taught us here. Pam, I dedicate this shirt to you. I know you like us to venture into other things. It is not perfect but I am happy with it. This is a lovely pattern and the fit is wonderful.

What you will need

  • 100% cotton (vintage at that)
