Test-driving the scoop-neck-tee

Project Description

What are you most proud of? My most wearable tee ever! It's a tad too wide and a bit on the short side, but the neckline lays nice against my skin and it's not losing it's shape already - it's been in the washer twice so far. Just to make sure ;-') Off to the nicer knits!

What you will need

  • Rayon knit with some Spandex

Q&A with Hortensie

PerlenDiva asked:
Looks nice. If it's really too short, you could always add another strip of jersey, maybe even in a contrast fabric.
Hortensie answered:
Thank you for your suggestion! It's not too short to be wearable, I'll just add some length to the pattern for next time!
mcnme asked:
Looks good! What pattern did you use?
Hortensie answered:
Thanks you
barb.alsk40780 asked:
Hi Hortensie! Did you use a serger? I ask bc I tried rayon/spandex and it was a disaster! Just wondering what tools, notions, settings you used if you used your regular machine. Thanks -- and nice job!
Hortensie answered:
Hi, back then I didn't have my own serger, so I used my walking foot and followed Megs instructions - and it worked just great! This one and some others I made are still going strong! Thanks for the compliment!
