Q&A with LaraGa

KathrynBrooks1 asked:
Congrats on completing your project. I know how frustrating sewing can be. I think the fit of your blouse is pretty good. One bit of advice I've gotten from fellow sewers is to measure a blouse that fits you well and then compare with the piece you are working on, making sure to add the seam allowances. I've done this when making skirts. I lay my own skirt right on top of the pattern. (Last time I forgot to add seam allowances, so the semi-finished skirt was way too tight.)
LaraGa answered:
Thanks for the tip, I didn't even think of that. Unfortunately, I don't own a lot of blouses. Now that I've started sewing, that will definitely change!
guinevere54 asked:
Why called Taffy blouse i wonder........ made with Taffider material? or Welsh? just curious from jenny (a Taff)
LaraGa answered:
It seems like a lot of the Colette patterns are named after deserts. Such a tease, I'm off sugar for at least another week!
