Project Description

What was your source for this sewing project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo styleARC Link to website or photo www.stylearc.com.au/stylearc/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=320&category_id=8&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=45 What are you most proud of? This was instant gratification and I did not have to make any major adjustments. A great project for a beginner. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just check your arm circumference against the armhole opening to ensure that this is going to fit. And buy a jersey twin needle for your hems. I also used 'steam a seam' for all the hems - this makes sewing the hems so much easier with no ripples or movement. (This tape is 2 sided and simple to use) And if you haven't yet tried a StyleARC pattern, do yourself a favour and buy one...you'll keep on going back for more!

What you will need

  • I used a sublime Viscose/Elastane knit from Sckafs Fabrics in Brisbane (for the red top). I have been trying to find the same fabric in chololate brown but nothing matches the buttery/silky drape of this fabric.
