Project

Sewing Studio

What are you most proud of? That I completed the skirt without any trouble installing the invisible zipper. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Watch the video, as this was my second skirt I thought I wouldn't need to follow the video so closely. Oops, I forgot to stay stitch the skirt before doing the darts. It worked out okay!! The cotton shirting is much better than the regular lining material.

Q&A with Teresa Maria

Scheri Manson asked:
Wow now that's a skirt I love! I really love the colors and the paisley.
Teresa Maria answered:
Thank you.
DelSur asked:
The lining lookS FA-BU-LOUS!!! and match the colors of the fashion fabric so weel. I love it. You did a great job and should be very proud of yourself. I have been used to regular lining material until now, but I love the idea of shirting as lining: so much stable and durable.
Teresa Maria answered:
Thank you, the cotton shirting is so much better, more comfortable and even more important, no static!!
