Quilted ironing board cover

Project Description

What are you most proud of? It is so satisfying to do such a quick project where the results and reward are immediate! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Next time I'm going to use elastic rather than the cord because it was so tricky to secure to the board!

What you will need

  • Fabric
  • thread
  • reclaimed woolen blanket (as batting)
  • string/cotton cord

Thats a great idea, I recently bought one which cost me $40Au. I will make my next one. Thanks.
Sarah Becker answered:
I know, they're so expensive to buy, whereas this one was well under $10 to make and only took an hour tops. Well worth doing, especially if your always finding awesome fabric and you need a good excuse to justify buying it, hehe.
