Penguin Blocks

Project Description

What was your source for this sewing project? Other Tell us more about what inspired you. Santa's Helper #98002 by P3 Designs What are you most proud of? After several years of hanging onto this pattern I finally decided to make up a dozen blocks and gift them to a friend who loves to make quilts but never would approach this task. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Sometimes you just want to experience making a pattern but not necessarily for yourself. Turn it into a smaller project or help a friend get started on something more difficult by doing the harder part for them. I saw these blocks as penguins, my friend, a Newfie, saw them as the puffins that frequent Newfoundland. It worked for both of us.

What you will need

Q&A with Betsy0

Surfside6 asked:
I see them as both - puffins and penquins. However I live in a puffin area, so that's my take for sure. Nice job.
Betsy0 answered:
I should make another set and send them to my friend in NS
Little grady asked:
i want to print the pattern.
Betsy0 answered:
I'd love to share it with you. How can we manage the exchange? Right now the pattern is hanging on my bulletin board in PA. I'm in Canada until October.
