Project

New Favorite Scarf:)

What are you most proud of? The edging! I was so excited about the thread I had chosen for the edging, but I had such a hard time getting it to work. I was starting to worry that It was to thick--it's a size 5 crochet thread. after many attempts, I figured out the right combination of threads, very sharp, new needles, and correct tension settings. Yay! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Do lots of experiments on scraps...I tested the flatlock at least 20 times before trying it on my real fabric, AND I went through over half the skein of yarn before I finally figured out the correct settings for the edge braid.
