My Sassy librarian Blouse

Project Description

What are you most proud of? The understitching on the collar. And that I did not give up the process with the pattern adjustments. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make a muslin! This class do not include fitting issues. In the class with Susan Kahlje and in Gerties Bombshell dress you got a lot of advice how to make a muslin. In Gerties class you also learn all about how to print and put a PDF-pattern together. I think it was difficult to make this blouse fit to my body. I almost gave up during the process. Finally I did some important changes: I made A Full Bust adjustment (good advice in the class material) and I changed the darts at the waist both back and front. Christine was a a nice teacher and have a lot of smart tips on how to sew all details and answers questions fast and friendly. So follow her lessons step by step .

What you will need

I know your frustration with fitting. I try to do something fun between my tough projects. Check out Indygo Junction pattern IJ866 Midtown Trench. It is really cute on with lots of fun top stitching and no fit problems. I made one for myself and making another for my mom.
Eva testar answered:
Do you have any photos of your Trench project? I love to see it!
