That I started on a muslin and in one day I finished a great top. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Measure carefully. The size chart on pattern is usless. Use the finished measurments size on pattern back compared to your measurements. Use very light weight fabric.

What you will need

  • Pattern Description: Semi-fitted
  • pullover tops have bias neck binding
  • seam detail
  • flounce (wrong side shows) variations
  • button trim and baby narrow hem. A: below elbow sleeves gathered at cap and into barrel cuffs. B and C: cap sleeves gathered to stay. D: gathered armhole ruffles. B
  • C and D: shaped hemline. I normally do size 18-20 combination in the big four patterns. My measurements are 42-38-45 - square I did combination View A & D. Size 16...could go to 14 if you would like a fitted rather than semi-fitted look. Designed for lightweight wovens. SUGGESTED FABRICS: Crepe De Chine

Looks like you used a serger to finish the ruffle edges. Is that the case? If not, how did you finish the ruffle edges?

I used my seger and three thread finish on ruffle edge and serger the hem using rolled hem and wooly nylon thread
