McCall's 6557

What was your source for this sewing project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo M6557 Link to website or photo mccallpattern.mccall.com/m6557-products-22748.php?page_id=108 What are you most proud of? This is my first time working with polester charmeuse. If I never do again, i won't complain. That stuff is a P.I.T.A What advice would you give someone starting this project? This is an easy pattern so there are a lot of construction shortcuts that make for a cute dress but not a garment that's necessarily made to last a lifetime. If I were using a more expensive fabric, I would do a proper lining and a hand picked zipper. I do wish I had done french seams for the unlined skirt. It's fine as is, but it wouldn't have taken me any more time and would have made a nice finish for this fabric.
