Mathilde Blouse

What was your source for this sewing project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Mathilde Link to website or photo www.tillyandthebuttons.com/p/mathilde-blouse-sewing-pattern.html What are you most proud of? Just being able to construct a garment, it's not something I have ever done before! I've never finished off seams or worked out buttons. I am most proud of my seams...though I could have been a bit straighter in my top-stitching. What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you are able, try a more fluid fabric. I've seen this project done in lighter fabrics and it really is lovely...as a matter of fact, that's what I'll be doing next time I give it a go! Thanks for reading!

Q&A with AmyMutts

Bagabon asked:
It's as pretty on the inside as the outside
AmyMutts answered:
Thank you Bagabon!
Swarley asked:
Well done! I'm working on the same blouse at the moment. I'm loving the look of the tucks but hating doing them.
AmyMutts answered:
Thanks! Yeah, the tucks were the trickiest bit - they're not perfect on mine. I got tired of futzing with them. I pinned, then ironed, then stitched. Can't wait to see your version!!
