What was your inspiration? Another from my live class at MPSOAF in July. Evelyn learned draping her own patterns. Next you will see a photo of her with her altered pattern using my method. You can see in the close up of her pattern that she added length on her bust curve and also because she is a long torso she added at the lower part of the torso. She is planning on making shirt blouses. In her fitting the back was almost spot on other then a small amount of the CB seam that needs to curve around her neck which I pinned in for her. Perfect example of a seam not being perfectly straight. We added back darts instead of keeping a really boxy fit, but it is still not body hugging. See how the EASE starts to work it's way in? On the front the fit was SPOT on other then pinning in the darts. It hangs really well, but she is leaning forward. with a straight posture this looked really amazing. See how a few proportion changes perfect the fit up front?
