Little Wallets

Project Description

What was your source for this sewing project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Little Wallet Link to website or photo What are you most proud of? The only snaps I had used were the old fashioned kind that would not look pretty. I purchased these snaps at G-Street Fabrics and did not need a special tool to set them. I was happy they worked out so well - they come in many colors, too. What advice would you give someone starting this project? I used a light weight interfacing - I think the stiff kind would be hard to turn right side out. I would just say follow the directions and you'll be fine!!

What you will need

  • 1/4 yard each of two fabrics - fat quarters will work/ 6" x 9" piece of interfacing/ 1 large snap

Q&A with Marie Withrow

Lynda F asked:
I love that pattern for those little wallets. I have made so many and given them away. They are always a hit for friends at work.
Marie Withrow answered:
I agree Lynda! I like that you can fit so many cards and a little cash in them...and slip them in a pocket!!

Thanks for sharing your creative projects ! Some do, others follow
Marie Withrow answered:
Thank you! It helps to have time! When I was raising my two sons I did not make much of anything. The 2nd one moved out in May.... more time!

How do you find the pattern for these?
Marie Withrow answered:
Hi, At the top of the page there is a link to where you can purchase the pattern online. I found it in a quilting store in Great Falls, Va. See the link above that says "Little Wallet"...
