very cute. Is oil cloth easy to sew? I would assume it is easy to keep clean.
iribeiro answered:
Hi! This was my first experiment using oilcloth. I don't think it was hard. My sewing machine is one of the most basic ones. I saw on the internet that you need a teflon foot to sew over oilcloth, because the regular foot does not glide as well, I sewed most of the purses from the back, so there was no problem. And I also used my regular zipper foot on the topstitching along the zipper, maybe it is not super perfect but i guess that it is mostly my fault as a newbie sewer than the foot. I also read that you can cover your feet with painter tape, so it glides better along the oilcloth.
