Grumpy Dogs Everything in its place bag

This was a learning curve. Great lessons from Annie. Easy to follow. I have never stitched vinyl and mesh before. Not experienced at putting in zippers, I am a quilter not a sewer. The mesh is recycled from a broken mesh playpen that my dogs used to use. This took me a few days to make. I found it easier as it went along although the binding on the outside was a challenge. I now have a unique bag for my quilting stuff to take to workshops and quilting group.

Q&A with twopk365456

sharonfin2666088 asked:
Is this the same as the Sew Sturdy Travel Organizer and what are the sizes for Sew Sturdy Travel Organizer (the sewing organizer zipper bag) and this Grumpy Dogs Everything in its place bag?
twopk365456 answered:
This was made using the measurements Annie gave in the class materials. It ended up being 13"wide x 9 1/2 " high and 4 1/4" deep. Each side of the vinyl pages ended up being 11 x 9 ". It may look small but fits everything in. I did one of each of the vinyl pocket variations.
Busy BZ Designs asked:
I'm a quilter as well..I was wondering do the "pages" hold things that have any thickness to them? Like presser feet for example? Is there anything you would change about the pockets if you were to make it again? Thanks in advance and hope you are having a wonderful weekend!
twopk365456 answered:
Hi Belinda, Sorry to take so long. I went to the Australian Quilt Convention in Melbourne and got back late yesterday. To answer your question. I took my bag with me to the AQC and it fitted everything in I needed for classes including my rotary cutter, scissors, thread, etc. Plenty of room. I have made another one which stores all my quilting rulers and I have two to a pocket. Plenty of room for presser feet etc. Cheers Phillippa
